Gospel Outreach Adventures in Missions

As we seek to win others to Christ, bearing the burden of souls in our prayers, our own hearts will throb with the quickening influence of God's grace.

2 pastors join Seventh-day Adventist Church

In the Kumpawapi District, Sukum Srisang used to be a senior pastor of a church that worships on Sunday. About a year and a half ago he was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is now a Gospel Outreach volunteer working among the Buddhists and his former groups of 15 members.

Every Sabbath, there are 10 of the 15 people who come together to worship. He also works in nearby villages and is giving Bible studies to an additional 20 people—10 will soon be ready for baptism.

Ging Keowjeo, a pastor of another denomination that worships on Sunday, was excited about the truth he learned. He was especially interested in the health message. When he left his church, nine members of the congregation followed their pastor in baptism.

Visiting schools in the area, Ging has taught health lessons and the Way of Life lessons. At the close of the classes, certificates were presented to the 50 students who graduated from the health and Way of Life courses.
